Rooted AI Workflow Builder

One recurring task, turned into a sequence you can hand to somebody. It maps what happens today, rates what the work touches, and returns a redesign where every step says who runs it — a person, an AI, or software running on its own. It will tell you to write the process down instead, when that is the honest answer.

What it does

  • Map what happens now before proposing anything, because the current state is what a redesign has to beat
  • Keep AI assistance and automation apart — one can be confidently wrong, the other keeps running after it stops being right
  • Refuse a design outright where the material should not be going into an ordinary AI service
  • Produce the smallest version that would work, alongside the full one
  • Write a hand-over document, a prompt with its guardrails, and a way to measure whether it helped

What it does not do

  • Treat more automation as better. Level 1 is the right answer more often than it gets chosen
  • Generate runnable automations, or invent an integration that may not exist
  • Recommend new software you do not need — fewer tools is usually the better move
  • Let a model decide what is safe to automate. Every judgement here is a rule you can read

The work itself

One recurring task. Not the whole job — the thing that comes round again and again.
