Using this site
This site is operated by Heirloom Praxis. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it — there is no hidden consequence beyond that.
The tools are planning aids, not advice
Every tool here produces planning material. None of it is legal, financial, tax, medical, agronomic or professional advice, and none of it establishes a professional relationship of any kind.
The Crop Planner is arithmetic against frost dates and documented days-to-maturity; it does not know your soil, water or pests. The Land Access Navigator prepares you for conversations; it cannot review an agreement. The Heirloom Shield is a self-assessment and is not a certification, a standard, an audit, or evidence of compliance with anything.
Where a result says to take something to a professional, that is not a formality. Please take it to a professional.
AI-assisted output
Some tools include a written-guidance section produced by a language model. It is labelled wherever it appears. It can be confidently wrong, and you should verify anything you intend to act on.
You are responsible for what you do with output from this site. Do not submit information about other people without their agreement, and do not submit anything from the list on our data principles page.
What you may do with what is here
Guides, frameworks and tool results are free to read, print, share and use in your own work, including commercially. If you reproduce a framework substantially — the Heirloom Shield or the Heirloom Method — please attribute it to Heirloom Praxis and link back, so readers can find the current version.
The wordmark, visual identity and brand names are not licensed for reuse and may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
Acceptable use
- Do not use these tools to research, profile or target private individuals.
- Do not use them to produce material intended to deceive, harass, intimidate or coerce.
- Do not attempt to circumvent the safety checks, the rate limits, or the boundaries stated on each tool.
- Do not submit anyone else's personal information without their agreement.
Availability
This is a small institution. The site may be unavailable at times, tools may change, and features described as in development may change or not arrive. Where something has not launched, we say so on the page rather than implying otherwise.
Third-party links
The resource directory links to organisations we do not control and have no relationship with. Listing is not endorsement. Each entry carries the date we last checked it; things change after that date without telling us.
Liability
This site and its tools are provided as they are, without warranty. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of them. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Paid engagements
Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Paid work is governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, deliverables, fees, ownership and termination. Where the site describes a price, it is an indicative published range, not a quotation.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States.
